ay 1 of the Summit was packed full of activities from workshops and demonstrations to fun
events like our Annual Charity Golf Tournament. On October 5, 2022, the DPC of Texas hosted its annual charity golf tournament at Indian Creek Golf Club in Carrollton, TX. It was an incredible day for golf and a fun way to help raise funds for the Damage Prevention Council of Texas. We had many returning golfers from previous tournaments and some first-time players.
Fundraising for the DPC of Texas allows us to continue offering chapter meetings, excavation safety days, education, and networking opportunities at little to no cost to you. As with our tournament in June, we had Michael Furr join us on Hole
11 for Cheat4Charity which helped us raise an additional $2400 for the DPC of Texas. Thank you to everyone who participated and cheated for our charity.
On Friday at the Summit, the DPC of Texas hosted a roundtable discussion. The open discussion format which
is a staple for DPC of Texas Chapter
