CNational Safe Digging Month at Texas811 – A RECAP urious about paint and flags?
National Safe Digging Month, commonly referred to as NSDM, is celebrated each year
during the month of April. During the month, the industry focuses activities and campaigns on promoting safe digging to professional excavators, homeowners, and DIYers nationwide.
During the month of April, the Marketing and Communications
team at Texas811 produced a line-up
of resources, prize giveaways and a surprise in the most talked about socks seen on Dallas/Fort Worth, WFAA.
The Marketing and Communication team focused on Excavators/Farmers/ Ranchers/DIYers/Homeowners and Texas811 Members in English and Spanish.
Audiences were reached through a variety of methods including email, social media, Television interviews and Regroup to name a few.
This year’s National Safe Digging Month campaign began March 27 through April 30, 2023, and was titled Curious about paint and flags?
From external to internal audiences the Marketing and Communications team held external prize giveaways to social media followers. Audiences were also reached through iHeart media, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
If you were stuck in traffic on the way to work or coming home you may have heard Texas811 on the radio, which sounded something like this:
